Preparations for Transmission Calibration:

Select Module PTQ and enter

Navigate through the address list to PTQ037

IMPORTANT: If the transmission is to be calibrated with the Command Centre, the value in address PTQ037 must first be changed and then set back to the Original value. e.g.: Change 0 to 1 and save, then access the address again and reset 1 to 0 and save. Basically, you are just changing this value and then setting it back to the value you started with. This lets the module know you have set the oil specification value. This step MUST NOT BE SKIPPED.

Follow the instructions below to prepare for transmission calibration:

  1. Access address PTQ 038 and start calibration.
  2. Select address PTQ 038 and press the confirm button. The Calibration Process Begins and the engine rpm should automatically increase to 1200rpm.

Calibration Information:

The display shows calibration information. Please follow the instructions below:

  1. P: You Must move the range shift lever to the park position.
  2. F: You Must move the reverse drive lever to the forward position.
  3. N: You Must move the reverse drive lever to the neutral position.
  4. EOC: You Must select the Confirm button. Calibration values are saved.

Display Error Messages:

A: Ensure the range shift lever is in position A.

Error-01: The oil type in address PTQ 037 needs to be confirmed. This error can occur if the engine speed is set incorrectly. If the speed is not automatically set to 1200 rpm during calibration, it must be set manually before calibration.

Error-02: Wheel movement has been detected while the park lock is engaged. The park lock function needs to be checked.

Error-03: The come-home mode is active. Deactivate the come-home mode and perform calibration again.

Error-04: The park lock is not engaged. The park lock must always be engaged during calibration.

Error-05: Communication error – check the CAN bus function.

Error-06: A diagnostic trouble code is active. Access the diagnostic trouble code and delete errors.

Error-07: The oil temperature is not within the valid range. The oil temperature must be between 45°C (113°F) and 70°C (170°F) during calibration. You can check the oil temperature in address PTQ 036 or via the display

Error-08: The reverse drive lever is in the wrong position.

Error-09: During calibration, either the brake or clutch was pressed.

Error-10: The operator’s seat is vacant. The operator must be seated on the operator’s seat during calibration.

Error-11: An incorrect transmission speed has been detected. Perform calibration again. Do not switch additional consumers on and off during calibration as this can have an effect on the engine speed.

Error-12: Only with Command Quad transmission. The range transmission is not in neutral.

Error-14: The engine speed is incorrect. If the speed is not automatically set to 1200 rpm during calibration, it must be set manually to 1200 rpm before calibration.

Error-20: The stored calibration values are out of range. Check the function of the proportional valves for forward and reverse.

Error-21: The calibration values determined are too high Check the function of the proportional valves for forward and reverse.

Error-22: The calibration values determined are too low. Check the function of the proportional valves for forward and reverse.
