Our Story

Hello, my name is Stuart and I am the creator of the Tractor Error Codes Website. I have been in the agricultural service industry for over 30 years and I am an experienced tractor mechanic. My primary goal is to support other mechanics by sharing my vast experience and knowledge, which will aid in resolving issues quickly.

“We value the support Stu gives our business, particularly the way in which he goes about diagnosis; Stu is process orientated, has great patience with attention to detail, with a quiet determination”. Simon Wilcox – Operations Manager Growing. A S Wilcox and Sons

Experienced tractor mechanic

My goal as an experienced tractor mechanic is to share my experience and knowledge in one place to help you repair tractors faster and at a lower cost. The Tractor Error Codes website is being developed to support agricultural mechanics around the world. The technology used in tractors has moved rapidly in the last 10 years and it is getting harder to find information to quickly rectify issues when they arise. Add in the shortage of mechanics in the industry and lack of adequate training is resulting in delays with repairs and higher labour bills for the farmer.

After several years as a self-employed agricultural mechanic, I have seen how hard it can be to find information relating to error codes on tractors. Once you have the information the fault can usually be diagnosed quickly and repaired easily. So, for the last few years, I have been bringing this information together while testing and researching on the tractors. The result is a growing database of error codes with detailed descriptions of wiring and component information.

The aim is to grow the error code database to include all the major manufacturers. Including John Deere, Massey Ferguson, Claas, New Holland, Case, Fendt, JCB, and Deutz. As the website grows, I will include more information on diagnosing issues and locating components.

Save Money by using my experience

A ONE YEAR subscription to the error code website will be less than a ONE HOUR charge from your local dealer. So, if you can fix one problem yourself you have saved money.

To use the error code website simply subscribe and log in. Then using the search function enter your error code, select the tractor make and model. Hit search and the results will be displayed. There may be several results with the same error code. By checking the brief description and comparing it to the fault on the tractor you will be able to select the appropriate code for your issue.
