John Deere 6155R

Error Code-000094.18

Basic Description-Low Pressure Fuel Sensor, Voltage Low

Technical Description- The low fuel pressure sensor is located on the fuel supply line after the electric lift pump. It monitors the fuel pressure supply to the high pressure pump. The sensor is either located on the left side of the engine in the fuel filter mounting or on the left side of the engine below the EGR cooler into the cooler mount manifold. The pressure sensor is the 3 wire sensor. Wire number 5964 (Yellow) 5 volt supply from ECU connector 1 pin number 24. Return (Earth) is wire number 5960 (black) to ECU connector 1, Pin 50. The signal line is wire 5487 (purple) to ECU connector 1, Pin number 39. Check the 5 volt supply and signal wire connectors. Check fuel supply lines. Check the lift pump is working correctly and that the fuel filters are not blocked. Check the fuel tank level and that there are no blockages in the fuel lines or contamination in the tank. If possible blow air back down supply line into fuel tank and check connectors.

Error Code-000641.13

Basic Description-Variable Geometry Turbo Actuator Position Sensor Issue

Technical Description- The VGT Actuator is Sending a message that it has a problem with initialization and learning the end stops for the position sensor. This code will activate an engine de-rate. During ignition ON and Ignition OFF the VGT cycles the actuator to check the position sensor and to ensure the veins move freely. If the actuator is not moving or making an unusual noise it could be an internal issue. With this error you will likely hear the VGT cycle numerous times when the ignition is turned on then the code will be displayed. In some circumstances the issue is with the end position being out of range. It is possible to mount a bolt into the casting to act as a mechanical stop. When correctly adjusted the code will not come up as the actuator is back within range. With the engine off locate the mechanical lever on the VGT and push it up by hand. You will see where it stops. The bolt should be mounted to act as a stop in this position. If this doesn’t work the actuator will need to be replaced. The new actuator needs to be calibrated using a diagnostic tool. The VGT actuator is mounted on the turbo. It is responsible for controlling the turbo speed by moving mechanical veins inside the turbo to speed up or slow down the exhaust turbine. The VGT actuator is a module that communicate with the engine ECU on the engine CAN BUS. The module is supplied with a 12 volt supply and an earth. It has a 4 pin connector. Wire number 5006 (blue) ECU connector 1, pin 31 is the 12 volt supply. Wire number 5007 (purple) ECU connector 1, pin 42 is the return (earth). Wire number 9095 (green) connector 1, pin 46 CAN BUS low. Wire number 9094 (yellow) ECU connector 1, pin 45 CAN BUS High. During ignition ON and Ignition OFF the VGT cycles the actuator to check the position sensor and to ensure the veins move freely. If the actuator is not moving or making an unusual noise it could be an internal issue.
